Former Stites & Harbison employment law litigator Donna Roberts has left the firm’s Nashville office for an associate general counsel position with Lebanon-based Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.

Roberts, a well-known employment law litigator in Nashville, made her move earlier this spring. She was a member of the Dupont Women’s Law Network, a past president of Nashville’s Lawyers’ Association for Women and a staunch advocate for women in the workplace, especially those striving for partnerships within law firms.  

Roberts had worked for the Stites firm since December 2005 and was named partner early last year.

“Donna is responsible for all aspects of the company's labor and employment practice,” said Jeanne Ludington, Cracker Barrel’s corporate communications manager.

Roberts will also supervise the company's relationship with outside counsel.

Cracker Barrel was established in 1969 and operates more than 600 company-owned locations in 42 states.
