Nashville-based AutoBody America Inc. has named Will Johnston president.

Johnston (pictured) will also continue to serve as the company’s chief financial officer, while Pat James will remain chief executive officer.

After working in the process design department of Andersen Consulting, Johnston was hired by AutoBody America in 1999 to help create a scalable process and technology model. In 2006, Johnston accepted an offer from James to be an equity partner and was later promoted from vice president to COO and CFO. 

Johnston is a graduate of Duke University, where he studied economics, business management and marketing.

AutoBody America operates 19 collision repair facilities in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas.
