Shareholder InSite adds some, attracts others

Analytics solutions provider acquires key executives

Shareholder Insite has added Bryan Link and Clay Willingham to its executive roster.

Link has been named the company’s senior vice president for business development while Willingham is national account executive. In his new role, Link assumes responsibility for the direct sales strategy and will focus on portfolio companies. Link founded online financial planning tools provider SimpliFi in 2004 and comes to Shareholder Insite after working with North Carolina-based financial software start-up nCino.

“To meet anticipated demand from a growing prospect pool and national client base, it’s essential that we have a stellar sales organization supporting our clients and partners. We are very fortunate to have Bryan and Clay onboard to help drive our growth,” said Brett Suchor, president of Shareholder InSite.

Shareholder Insite was formed six months through the merger of local start-up CapControls and Qval out of Colorado. The company already has built up a sizable roster of blue-chip clients that includes venture capital and private-equity firms Benchmark Capital, Menlo Ventures, Third Rock Ventures and Village Ventures as well as private corporations Access Closure, Chloe & Isabel, Kool Smiles and SurgiQuest.

“Menlo was looking for a way to create a more efficient audit process around our portfolio company valuations. We wanted a solution that would centralize valuation work as well as streamline the collection of supporting documents. Shareholder InSite has built a powerful tool that addresses our needs and they truly understand the challenges we face,” said Kirsten Mello, CFO at Menlo Ventures.
