Village merges with Franklin's Johnson & Thompson

Merger gives Nashville-based real estate company a foothold in Williamson County

Nashville's Village Real Estate Services and Franklin's Johnson & Thompson announced a merger Friday.

The 40-year-old Johnson & Thompson increases Village's Franklin presence, which began in 2008.

"Village has a strong presence in Davidson County, and has had an office in Williamson County, in Franklin, for the past four years," Mark Deutschmann, Village founder and CEO, said in a release. "We’ve also noted the strong, synergistic connection between these two counties, and significant movement from our Nashville residents in both directions. We believe that our services will be much stronger with the addition of these agents to our firm."

The Franklin location is located at 202 Church St.
