Saint Thomas Health Services has named Timm Glover its chief mission and ministry officer.

Glover has been vice president for mission integration at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, one of the five hospitals n the Saint Thomas network, since 2002. He will start in his new job, which calls for him to integrate the Catholic identity into the culture, operations and strategies of Saint Thomas, on May 27.

Glover began his career with Saint Thomas Health in 1998 as a chaplain at Saint Thomas Hospital. He established the mission vice president role at MTMC 10 years ago and helped build the Dispensary of Hope model, which provides medications to the poor, and established the MTMC mobile medical unit. Glover received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and religion from Belmont University and a master of divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He entered the Roman Catholic Church in 2002.
