Chamber adds director of entrepreneurial growth and engagement
The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce has named Alison Lynch director of entrepreneurial growth and engagement.
Lynch will manage strategic relationships with business owners and develop programs to serve growing businesses with creative and innovative offerings. She will also focus on maintaining a referral and collaboration process with community partners that serve early and mid-stage companies.
“The chamber believes job creation and capital investment by the growing business and entrepreneur sections of Nashville is important to our region’s economic prosperity,” Dan Stevenson, the chamber’s chief growth officer, said in a release. “As an entrepreneur herself, Alison is a great fit for this position, and we are thrilled to have her lead our entrepreneurial engagement.”
Lynch comes to the chamber after serving as a mentor to emerging entrepreneurs at Nashville-based JumpStart Foundry, a seed-stage microfund and business incubation program. Prior to that, she was the chief operating officer at BlueJar Media, LLC, where she developed a digital time capsule application and was instrumental in building the corporate vision.
Lynch earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Longwood University.
