Wyatt Tarrant adds two to local roster

Managing partner says firm 'continuing to add talent'

Regional law firm Wyatt Tarrant & Combs has added two attorneys to its Nashville office.

Marcia Topiwala (pictured at far left) joins the local Wyatt office having previously worked for the Katten Muchin Rosenman law firm in New York City. She was a member of that firm’s financial services team and concentrates on corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and commercial lending. She received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and her law degree from Fordham University.

Commercial litigator Nina Kumar also joins the firm and will work with clients in the products liability litigation area, insurance receiverships and employment law. She has in the past clerked for Judge Holly Kirby of the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Kumar received her undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland and her law degree from Vanderbilt University.

"We are thrilled to bring Marcia and Nina to Wyatt," said David Lewis, Wyatt’s Nashville managing partner. "They are both joining us at an opportune time as we continue to add talent to our key service areas. We look forward to the contributions they will be making to our clients."

Wyatt's office in the 2525 West End building is home to about 20 attorneys.
