Downtown bar and restaurant Wild Bill's sold Monday for $1.876 million.
The Louisiana-themed hangout across Fifth Avenue from Bridgestone Arena was picked up by 104 5th Avenue South Investors LLC.
"We ... purchased the building from the current operator and his family. The current operator has closed his business. Our plan is to renovate the building and reopen with a new operator (restaurant/bar) who will be announced later this summer," said Rob Lowe, a principal at Cassidy Turley and one of the investors in the property.
The three-story building was purchased in 2006 by namesake Bill Soileau for $750,000 and then was quitclaimed to a Texas woman named Aline Richardson in March 2011. It was last appraised for $446,000 in 2009.
