Edo Interactive has tapped a new chief technology officer.

Jeff Sippel joins the company most recently from Orbitz Worldwide. With Orbitz, he served as the company’s vice president of engineering and vice president of product strategy. He also spent time with Ernst & Young earlier in his career.

“Jeff joins Edo at a pivotal time for the company, as we’re on the brink of truly revolutionizing how consumers shop and save, fulfilling a pressing market need for better targeted offers that are personalized to consumer behavior,” said Edo CEO Ed Braswell. “A perfect addition to our executive team, I am confident that Jeff will provide the technology leadership needed to unlock the power of our card-linked offers platform and arm marketers with the ability to drive customer acquisition and loyalty.”

In his new role, Sippel will be responsible for systems powering Edo’s card-linked offer platform.
