Hendrick to lead health care startup
Entrepreneurial veteran Robert Hendrick has signed on to lead another Nashville startup.
Hendrick, who previously served as the COO of Change Healthcare, has been tapped to be the CEO of Care Technology Systems, which develops technologies for the “aging-in-place industry.”
Care Technology, which was formed last year, won a grant from the Tennessee Technology Development Corp.
“We’re excited to have Robert join us,” said the company’s founder Jim Anderson. “His deep experience in both healthcare and start-ups, as well as his keen understanding for marketing new innovations to clients is ideal as we continue to expand our product’s and company’s footprint. Robert will strengthen our leadership and help us ensure we’re providing aging-in-place clients the innovative products and services they demand.”
Anderson will stay on with the company as its chairman and president.
Most recently, Hendrick founded Rail Yard Studios, which fashioned sustainable furniture from reclaimed railroad ties and rails. He will continue to work with that company in a diminished capacity.
