Real estate notes: Rutherford County shows activity
Cassidy Turley announced today Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems Inc. has leased 200,000 square feet at Mason Road Distribution Center in LaVergne.
Sumitomo renewed its existing 120,000 square feet and added 80,000 square feet.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The building, owned by Clarion Partners and represented by Doug Howard with Cassidy Turley, is a 400,000-square-foot industrial facility.
David McGahren with Cassidy Turley represented Sumitomo in its negotiations with the landlord.

Work begins on $27.5M Murfreesboro apartment project
In other news related to Rutherford County, Panther Properties Investment, LLC, announced today along with development partner Integra Land Company that construction has started on the $27.5 million Integra Creek Apartments in Murfreesboro.
Panther Properties is a private equity Class A multifamily investor and developer.
Integra Creek, located on 18.5 acres on Manson Pike and adjacent to Interstate 24, will include 264 units in nine, three-story buildings.
The first units will be available for lease in the first quarter of 2013 with the entire project to be completed by the Q3 2013.
