Council leads funding round for Georgia telemedicine outfit

Local fund continues support of company providing stroke care to underserved areas

Local investment fund Council has led a funding round for Georgia-based Reach Health.

The $4 million series B round will help continued growth with the company, which provides telemedicine technology solutions for hospitals. Reach provides a cloud-based platform that was originally developed to provide remote access to urgent care for stroke victims, allowing them neurological care that can be hard to come by in rural, underserved areas of the country.

Council was also involved in Reach’s series A round and is continuing support for the company. Further details on the raise can be found here.
