AirStrip opening Nashville office

San Antonio-based developer of mobile patient monitoring software hires local KPMG veteran

Texas-based health care technology company AirStrip announced Monday it is opening a Nashville outpost to be headed up by a well-known local consultant.

Connie McGee was most recently health care director for KPMG’s advisory practice. Before that, she oversaw large-account sales at computer maker Dell.

"Connie has vast and valuable experience that will help our largest clients to optimize their leadership position within their markets,” said Airstrip Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Bruce Brandes. “In this new role, Connie will align vision and execution so our clients can most effectively leverage AirStrip's mobility platform as a strategic, enterprise asset in the rapidly evolving healthcare industry."

AirStrip, which develops mobile patient monitoring software, recently announced a collaboration with HCA through which the hospital giant’s Health Insight Capital unit has made an equity investment of an undisclosed amount in the company.
