Financial advisor named to MNAA board

Hilliard Lyons exec to help guide airport body

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has added a senior executive at investment firm Hilliard Lyons' local operations to its board of commissioners.

Amanda Farnsworth was appointed by Mayor Karl Dean and confirmed recently by Metro Council. A mathematics graduate from Vanderbilt University, she is a senior vice president at Hilliard Lyons' West End offices.

“We are pleased to welcome Amanda Farnsworth. Her business acumen and aviation experience as a pilot will serve this Board of truly distinguished commissioners well,” said Raul Regalado, president and CEO of the Airport Authority. “Our Board of Commissioners provides the policy guidance and leadership necessary for the Authority to provide the Nashville Airports Experience to all of our passengers, partners and employees.”

She also serves on the boards of Optimum Solutions Inc., Franklin American Mortgage Co., Precision Energy Solutions and Consumers Insurance Group, where she is chairman.
