Dodson Parker Behm & Capparella has added Jason Gichner to its litigation section, where he will focus on business law, employment law and criminal defense matters.

Previously, Gichner worked as a senior trial attorney for Metro’s Public Defender’s Office. There, he developed extensive jury trial experience and managed hundreds of cases. He earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University, where he served on the Journal of Transnational Law and the Moot Court Board. He also received both the Outstanding Oralist of the Year Award and the Clinical Legal Student of the Year Award.

Gichner received his B.A. degree with honors from Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y. He is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
