National law firm Dickinson Wright has expanded its Nashville office in the Fifth Third Center to encompass some 23,000 square feet.
The law firm, which established its presence in Nashville in 2009 through a combination with the firm of Stewart Estes and Donnell, increased its space by 40 percent.
"This expansion was necessary to accommodate growth through lateral hires which occurred in 2010 and 2011," governing board member Tom Donnell said. "If the office continues to grow as we anticipate, it is likely that additional space will be needed in the next two to three years."
Eakin Partners' Bo Tyler and Tom Hooper brokered the transaction between Dickinson Wright and the building owner, Amstar Group.
"Dickinson Wright is a great asset to the Fifth Third Center and Tom and I along with the landlord are thrilled by their expansion. They are a great firm to have in the building," Tyler said.
Dickinson Wright's addition will offset some of the space fellow law firm Frost Brown Todd will vacate when it moves to The Pinnacle at Symphony Place in May. The 489,000-square-foot Fifth Third Center also is home to Loews Hotels' service center, which opened its doors two summers ago.
