AmSurg plans move to new Burton Hills building
Company will be sole occupant in 2014
Surgery center operator AmSurg will become the sole occupant of a planned new building in Burton Hills.
According to a report in The Tennessean, the company — which currently occupies roughly 90,000 square feet in two Burton Hills buildings, per its latest annual report — will consolidate its operations to the new development. That building had been planned at four stories, but back in the planning department pipeline with a change to three stories plus a parking garage.
The project — a 110,000-square-foot building whose investors include principals from Eakin Partners — should be online by the time AmSurg's current lease expires in 2014.
AmSurg has 350 employees in Burton Hills.
