TriStar names director for Spring Hill ER facility

Veteran health care official previously oversaw emergency services at Heritage Medical Center

TriStar Centennial Medical Center announced today that Keri McKamey has been hired as the first director of the soon-to-open TriStar ER located in Spring Hill.

McKamey (pictured) most recently served as director of emergency services for Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tenn. She also has a background in inpatient and outpatient surgery nursing roles.

“Securing a strong and compassionate leader with the knowledge and experience necessary to lead an Emergency Room was an essential first step in our commitment to providing quality emergency care serving Maury and Williamson Counties,” Joseph Mazzo, vice president of clinical operations for TriStar Centennial, said in a release.

The TriStar ER, which is slated to open in early 2013, will provide 24-hour emergency services from board-certified physicians. The facility will have emergency diagnostic and treatment services with a comprehensive laboratory and state-of-the-art imaging capabilities and a helipad.
