XMi Commercial Real Estate is moving forward on the development of a one-story single-retail-tenant building at the northwest corner of the West End and 19th avenues intersection in Midtown.
The building, to be designed by Nashville-based Manuel Zeitlin Architect, will replace the recently razed structure once home to a Mrs. Winner's (seen in this image courtesy of Google Maps). On-site work is underway.
Henry Menge, XMi affiliate broker, declined to disclose the tenant for the structure, which will contain about 5,000 square feet. However, the Nashville Business Journal reports an AT&T store will take the space.
Menge said the company will not have a rendering for the building but noted it will be constructed in such a way that could accommodate the site’s future. MZA is known for its very contemporary design aesthetic.
“It will improve the site with an eye toward allowing flexibility for a [larger-scale] development in the future,” he said.
Menge said Nashville-based D.F. Chase Inc. will handle the general contractor role. He declined to note what bank is providing financing.
Of note, Renasant is planning a project on the northeast corner of the intersection. Read more here.
