Tech accessory designer and manufacturer Griffin Technology is dipping its toes into the U.S. retail market by opening what it calls microstores in Franklin as well as some of the country's biggest cities.
The launch of the large kiosks at the CoolSprings Galleria (pictured at left and below) and in San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle and Annapolis, Md., come several months after 20-year-old Griffin opened its first branded store near London's Olympic Stadium. The West Coast and Maryland outlets are all in shopping malls run by Westfield Group, the owner of the London shopping center that housed Griffin's first retail foray.
"Griffin has been leading the way in developing innovative and groundbreaking accessories for the past 20 years," said Mark Rowan, Griffin’s president. "Opening these MicroStores is the next step for us in sharing our vision and products with consumers at first hand."
