HealthTeacher, Inc., has hired Reagan Brown to serve as vice president of business development.

Brown will initiate and develop the type relationships that have already brought the local Internet provider of health education tools for children more than 11,000 client schools.

Formerly, Brown was vice president and general manager for InvestorPlace Media, at which he was responsible for advertising and related business. Prior to that, Brown ran the business development group for BusinessWeek. There, he developed and managed a range of partnerships.

“The addition of Reagan to the HealthTeacher team reinforces our efforts to build larger engagement around the interactive youth health products we’re creating,” Scott McQuigg, HealthTeacher chief executive officer, said in a company statement.
