American Heart Association names VP of local operations

Nonprofit official most recently oversaw Nashville Heart Walk

The American Heart Association has named Kelley Tune vice president of its Metro Nashville operations.

Tune, who has worked for the American Heart Association for seven years, succeeds Kristie Woock, who was recently named senior vice president of field operations and development for the association’s Western States Alliance.

Tune most recently served as vice president of the Nashville Heart Walk. The most recent Heart Walk, held in October, netted more than $1.75 million.

She was also a recent winner of the Rao Musunuru Staff Award of Excellence, the Greater Southeast Affiliate’s most prestigious staff award, covering the region including Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi and Puerto Rico.
