The three-story complex once home to downtown nightclub Graham Central Station will be auctioned later this month.
The 43,168-square-foot space, located near the corner of Second Avenue and Broadway, will be auctioned by Blackbird Asset Services and AmeriBid LLC as part of a court-ordered disposition. Most recently, the space was the site of Helan Back Bar, subject of a recently filed trademark infringement suit.
The sale itself, though, stems from a debt owed by the building's owner, Deville Corp., to Regions Bank. Summary judgment of more than $2.7 million was entered in October and the sale ordered by Davidson Chancery Court last week.
The auction of the property — built in the 1920s as The Hooper Building — will begin onsite at 11 a.m. Nov. 29.
