Sherrard & Roe names head of litigation practice group

Nashville Bar Foundation fellow will represent clients in dispute resolution

Sam Funk has been named head of the litigation practice group at Sherrard & Roe PLC. 

The group manages commercial disputes in state and federal courts, and with administrative agencies. It also handles various forms of alternative dispute resolution. Funk represents clients in matters including disputes and torts, breaches of contract, non-compete/confidentiality agreements, theft of trade secrets, securities/financial services claims and shareholder disputes.

A Nashville Bar Foundation fellow and an inaugural member of the Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law program, Funk graduated with honors from Wake Forest University and cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Sherrard is home to more than 30 attorneys, almost half of whom are in its litigation and dispute resolution group.
