April Watkins has joined MTR Family Law firm (formerly Moses Townsend & Russ PLLC) as an associate.

In a release, MTR Manager and Founding Partner Marlene Eskind Moses said Watkins will represent clients with a range of family law services including counseling, negotiation, mediation and litigation.

“April brings a high level of professionalism to MTR Family Law,” Moses said. “She has a diverse legal background and a number of community interests that mirror our commitment to serving the Nashville community with both our time and legal services.”

Watkins earned her juris doctorate at the New England School of Law in Boston. She completed her undergraduate work at Belmont University, from which she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree.

A trained Rule 31 mediator and a collaborative divorce law practitioner, Watkins is a member of the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court, the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Lawyer’s Association for Women and the Tennessee Association for Justice. She is also active in both the Nashville Junior Chamber and the Junior League of Nashville.
