Gish promotes Crispin Porter veteran to accounts SVP

Manager of Bridgestone account joined agency mid-2011

Advertising agency GS&F, formerly called Gish Sherwood & Friends, has promoted Lori Harmon to senior vice president and director of account management. Harmon joined the Green Hills-based company in July of last year from nationally known firm Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami.

In her new role at GS&F, Harmon will oversee the agency’s business-to-business and consumer-oriented account teams as well as continue to manage the Bridgestone Americas account.

"Lori’s leadership and ingenuity have been a model for our entire staff, so it only makes sense to expand her role," said Jeff Lipscomb, president of GS&F. "As part of our senior leadership team, she’ll play an important role in our own strategic efforts to grow our brand and build stronger relationships with each client."

At Crispin Porter, where she worked for two and a half years, Harmon helped lead the national media planning for the Burger King account. Prior to that, she spent time at The Martin Agency and McKinney, working with Land’s End, Krystal Restaurants and Bacardi, among others.
