Climb Nashville plans new home

Gym needs BZA OK for 10,000-square-foot Charlotte site

Popular rock-climbing gym Climb Nashville is looking to move a few blocks north.

The latest agenda from the Board of Zoning Appeals includes a request by Climb asking for an exemption to the city's setback requirements for five parcels on the north side of Charlotte at 37th Avenue.

According to the agenda item, Climb is looking to build a 10,200-square-foot facility on 0.91 acres. The property is owned by Bruce and Behrooz Yazdian.

Climb is currently located a few blocks off Charlotte in the Redmon Street complex, which is also home to the Nashville Ballet and the Noah Liff Opera Center.
