Lexus of Nashville is having a building constructed on its new MetroCenter site. J.E. Crain & Son Inc. has the $5.8 million contract.

The Nashville office of law firm Littler Mendelson is moving from West End Avenue to the AT&T Building in the central business district. Solomon Builders is prepping the new space for a cost of $380,000.

Meharry makeover

Lyttle Hall at Meharry Medical College will have some of its interior space overhauled. The $94,000 job ticket went to PBG Builders Inc.

Energizing The Ingram Group

The Metro Development and Housing Agency is rehabbing its 211-unit Madison Towers apartment building. Hardaway Construction Corp. is doing the work on a $7 million contract.

The former Woodland Street space home to The French Quarter Café is being overhauled to accommodate a restaurant to be called The Crying Wolf. Powell Construction Studio LLC got the contract, valued at $172,000

Mr. Snodgrass will feel better

The State of Tennessee is having D.F. Chase Inc. update space on eight floors in the William R. Snodgrass Tower, located on 312 Rosa L. Parks Ave. The cost: approximately $4.7 million.

The downtown Nashville office of Ernst & Young is getting a facelift. Solomon Builders Inc. is handling the $425,000 job at 150 Fourth Ave. N.

The re-wiring of Parkway Towers

Downtown’s venerable modernist midrise Parkway Towers, which suffered an electrical fire last May, will soon benefit from some electrical upgrades. DWC Construction Co. Inc. is doing the $623,626 job.

Change at Children’s

The first floor imaging suite at the Monroe Carrel Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is being renovated. Balfour Beatty Construction LLC has the $179,291 contract.
