Siskind Susser adds labor law attorney
Siskind Susser has added attorney Bruce E. Buchanan to its Nashville office.
A former partner at King & Ballow, Buchanan will represent employers and individuals in all aspects of immigration law as well as employers in employment/labor law matters. His expertise within immigration law is employer compliance, and he has assisted clients with matters related to Immigration & Customs Enforcement audits.
Buchanan (pictured) received his law degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1982 and his undergraduate degree in 1979 from Florida State University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Before going into private practice nine years ago, Buchanan served as senior trial specialist for the National Labor Relations Board for 20 years as well as an adjunct professor at William H. Bowen University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.
Buchanan is past chair of the Tennessee Bar Association's Immigration Law Section as well as the current editor of TBA's Labor and Employment Law Section Newsletter and the TBA's Immigration Law Section Newsletter. He serves on the board of directors for both the Nashville International Center for Empowerment and the United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee. He is also an officer with the Middle Tennessee Seminole Club.
