Thirteen days left for J. Alexander's as public company

Restaurant chain will soon file papers to delist as part of sale to Fidelity National

Officials at J. Alexander's said late Tuesday they will soon file papers with the Nasdaq stock exchange to delist the company's stock. The move will be one of the last in the process of selling the West End-based restaurant chain to Fidelity National Financial, which already owns more than 90 percent of J. Alexander's shares. If things go according to plan, the last day to trade J. Alexander's (Ticker: JAX) on the Nasdaq will be Oct. 26.
