Epiphone announces move to Ameriplex
Gibson subsidiary Epiphone will move its North American headquarters to Holladay Properties’ Ameriplex at Elm Hill, leasing the remaining 90,000 square feet of Ameriplex's Building B.
Epiphone has operated from a facility at nearby 645 Massman Dr.
"We welcome Epiphone Guitar, an internationally-respected brand and one of Nashville’s esteemed companies, to Ameriplex at Elm Hill," Tom Gibson, senior vice president and partner of Holladay Properties, said in a release. "Not only does Ameriplex’s central location make sense for Epiphone from a distribution standpoint, but the facility’s low impact design and efficiency speaks to the company’s commitment to responsible operating practices. We’re extremely honored that Epiphone has chosen Ameriplex as its new North American headquarters.”
Both Epiphone and Holladay Properties were represented by Cassidy Turley’s Ronnie Wenzler. Epiphone officials said their decision to move into a new headquarters is a result of the company’s growth and need for a larger facility at a central location.
"In looking for a new location, Ameriplex made perfect sense for a number of reasons," Gibson President Dave Berryman said. "It’s a brand new facility that’s built to LEED standards, which is important to our commitment to sustainability. Its central location is ideal from a distribution perspective, and the space is large enough to allow us to continue to grow. We’re excited about the move."
Epiphone plans to move into its new space this summer. The company will join Classic Party Rental in Building B, while Building A, also fully leased, is occupied by Lennox Hearth Products, National Recycling Technologies and international logistics services provider DHL. A third building is planned for the site’s remaining seven acres. When all phases of the complex are complete, the facility will accommodate more than 300,000 square feet of office warehouse industrial space.
