Local attorney named shareholder at Waddey & Patterson

Intellectual property counsel sees first law job prove successful

Ryan Levy has been named a shareholder at Waddey & Patterson, P.C.

The intellectual property litigator began work with Waddey in 2005, immediately after graduating from Duke University Law School.

"We are very pleased to name Ryan a shareholder of our firm, particularly as our patent prosecution and litigation practice continues to grow," said Ed Lanquist, the firm's managing shareholder. "He is a talented attorney who has provided valuable service in meeting the needs of our technology clients."

Levy is a registered patent attorney who prosecutes patent applications in a variety of technologies including medical devices, environmental remediation, chemical manufacturing and nutritional supplements. Levy also advises members of the firearms industry on intellectual property issues.
