Four join Southeast Venture, Fletcher Rowley adds PR veteran, and more.. [From our print edition featured in this week's City Paper]

Keel joins Fletcher Rowley

Susan Keelhas joined Fletcher Rowley as director of public relations. Keel will provide writing and strategic support for the firm’s political candidates and service her existing public relations clients through Fletcher Rowley Inc.

Keel is an award-winning public relations specialist whose early professional career included serving as a staff aide to U.S. Sen. Jim Sasser followed by working alongside iconic journalist John Seigenthaler of The Tennessean and USA Today.

Pinnacle adds three

Kelly Baucom, Amanda Eaton and Eric Bocanegrahave all joined Pinnacle Financial Partners.

As service specialist, Baucom brings 10 years of experience from Bank of America. She was most recently a teller supervisor for Bank of America. Her prior roles include senior teller and assistant banking center manager. She is based at Pinnacle’s Mallory Lane office in Cool Springs.

Eaton, also a service specialist, has five years of experience and is based at Pinnacle’s West End office. Eaton comes to Pinnacle from Southern Maintenance Group, where she was an office assistant. Prior roles include serving as a teller for First Federal Bank in Dickson and as a payroll assistant for Vaco LLC in Brentwood.

Bocanegra has joined Pinnacle as a network support analyst. He brings 31 years of experience to his role and most recently comes from HCA Healthcare, where he was a consulting engineer. He is based at Pinnacle’s Mt. Juliet Road office.

Lipscomb adds development pro

Dale Armstrong has been appointed senior development counsel in Lipscomb University’s office of development and alumni relations.

Armstrong brings with him nearly 20 years of experience in development. For the past 12 years, Armstrong has served as vice president for Dickerson and Associates, a development firm based in Colorado. He also was executive director of Georgia Christian School.

Convention Center Authority adds workforce administrator

Autumn Henderson has joined the Music City Center project management team as program administrator of the Workforce Development Program. Henderson joined the staff as a full-time employee after working with the program for a year as a subcontractor.

Prior to that, she worked with Express Employment Professionals, providing human resources consulting and labor force solutions to businesses in North Nashville. In her new role, Henderson meets with the project’s prime contractors to determine labor force needs, arranges interviews, consulting, and document review for applicants, and works with community organizations to place applicants for skills training.

PLA Media promotes three

PLA Media has announced several promotions, as well as the inclusion of a social media division. Nicole Zeller has been promoted to senior publicist and marketing director. Zeller joined the company in 2006 as a publicity coordinator. Before PLA, she was a publicity associate at Sony BMG.

Mark Logsdon has been named senior publicist and marketing executive. Logsdon joined the company in 2007 as a publicity/marketing coordinator. His previous work experience includes Sony BMG, RLM/Mission Management and the Atlantis Music Conference.

Jennifer Lyle<b/> has been named publicity coordinator/copywriter. She joined the company in 2010 after interning for a few months. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and electronic media.

Franklin American hires Hoskins

Franklin American Mortgage Co.’s wholesale lending division announces the addition of account executive Christy Hoskins. Hoskins, who will cover Tennessee, joins Franklin American with more than 13 years experience in the industry. She most recently served as an account manager for Genworth Financial.

Herald, Brearey join Fifth Third

John Herald has joined Fifth Third Securities as an institutional investment sales representative for the Tennessee affiliate. Herald is a graduate of Centre College and was previously employed at Kentucky Housing Corp. He has worked in investment banking and corporate finance for 11 years.

Megan Brearey has joined Fifth Third as a large corporate relationship manager in the bank’s national health care finance group. She is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and earned her MBA from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to joining Fifth Third, she was employed at National City Bank/PNC Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. She has worked in commercial credit and as a commercial relationship manager for the past six years. 

Hall Booth adds civil litigator

The Nashville office of law firm Hall Booth Smith & Slover has added Jaimee Johnson (formerly Wilson), a trial attorney focusing on civil litigation, to its ranks. Before joining HBSS, Johnson practiced with Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin in Tampa, Fla. She also previously worked as a senior trial attorney for the Nashville office of Allstate Insurance Co. Johnson has a bachelor of arts degree in English from Freed Hardeman University. Her law degree is from Oklahoma City University School of Law.

McGaw joins Parsons Brinckerhoff

David McGaw has been named a senior supervising engineer in the Nashville office of Parsons Brinckerhoff. In his new position, he will oversee the State of Tennessee Real Property Administration’s capital project construction program. McGaw has 30 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including major facilities construction projects throughout the state. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he served as senior project manager with a Nashville-area consulting firm.

Southeast Venture adds four

Southeast Venture LLC has added the following people to its design services team: Joe Bucher, Rachael Ferrill, Darrel Hayes and Douglas Writh.

Bucher joins as a graduate architect. In this role, he will design, plan and manage architectural project. Before joining Southeast Venture, he worked as an associate for Looney Ricks Kiss Architects. He received his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.

Ferrill will work in Southeast Venture’s interior design team as a junior designer. She will assist in design development and production of construction documents. She joined the firm after graduating with her bachelor’s from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.

Hayes has joined as an architectural CAD manager. He will manage projects and produce CAD documents. He has in the past worked for Southeast Venture as a construction detailer. He also worked as an architect intern for Community Tectonics Inc. and The Larkin Group. Hayes graduated with his bachelor’s of architectural engineering from Tennessee State University.

Writh has expertise in design, planning and historic preservation who has joined Southeast Venture as a LEED-accredited professional and graduate architect. He previously worked with Southeast Venture’s design services team. He also worked as a graduate architect for PSA-Dewberry. He earned his master’s of architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
