Bart returns to Sherrard & Roe

Former firm partner leaves Comdata parent Ceridian

Attorney Albert J. Bart has rejoined law firm Sherrard & Roe as a member.

Bart’s return to the firm’s corporate practice group comes after his serving as senior vice president and associate general counsel for Ceridian Corp. for the past three years. Bart was a member of the law firm from 2005 to 2008.

“We are very excited about Albert’s return to membership in our firm,” said Tom Sherrard, founding member of Sherrard & Roe in a press release. “His many years of experience as a corporate and commercial transactions attorney, including his past three years at Ceridian, will be of immediate and significant value to the firm and its clients.”

At Ceridian, Bart was primarily responsible for securities, financing and commercial transaction matters, as well as corporate governance and compensation and benefit matters. Minneapolis-based Ceridian is a leading global business services company with nearly 8,000-employees worldwide, including operations in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Ceridian is the parent company of Comdata Corp. located in Brentwood.
