Social commerce venture Moontoast today announced that it has hired Tim Putnam as vice president of client services.
In the role, Putnam will be responsible for working with Moontoast's specialty retail, music, publishing and celebrity clients to develop online strategies that create engagement and revenue for their brands. He's taking the post after serving as a partner with Nashville's Music City Networks, where he created online strategies and brand management for entertainers including Kelly Clarkson and Toby Keith.
“We are extremely happy to have Tim as part of our creative team,” said Blair Heavey, CEO of Moontoast. “Through his work with Music City Networks, Tim brings a wealth of experience in social networking and merchandising to the world of social distributed commerce.”
Putnam is also a published author, songrwiter and photographer and a guest speaker at Vanderbilt University's Entertainment and Media Management class.
Moontoast, based in Boston with a presence in Nashville, yesterday announced the hiring of a VP of business development.
