'American Pickers' store set for Saturday opening

Antique Archaeology Nashville files paperwork, announces grand opening

Mike Wolfe, star of History Channel's American Pickers, filed a charter for his Nashville store Wednesday and is set for a Saturday grand opening in Marathon Village.

The charter for Antique Archaeology Nashville LLC was filed in the Davidson County Register of Deeds by Wolfe, and his Web site says the store will open officially 10 A.M. Saturday.

Wolfe, along with co-star Frank Fritz, star in the popular program that follows the two as they cross America seeking and pricing unique artifacts.

Wolfe first posited the idea of a Nashville location in a November interview with the Nashville Scene. He and his girlfriend live part-time in Lieper's Fork.

Antique Archaeology Nashville will be located in 3,000 square feet in the former auto plant.
