Management consulting groups picks up organizational, health care specialists

Management consulting group Compass Executives has recently brought on board two veteran executives.

Patricia Asp has joined Compass after serving as president and COO of Community Education Partners, where she helped lead the company's move from running alternative public schools to building, owning and managing charter schools.

Prior to moving to Middle Tennessee in 2006, Asp spent 25 years at ServiceMaster in Memphis, where she retired in 2003 as senior vice president of performance improvement. A Michigan State graduate and Six Sigma Black Belt, she specializes in organizational models and performance improvement.

Separately, veteran health care executive Tom McElroy also has joined Compass. In a statement, Compass said McElroy “has earned national recognition as a pioneer, innovator and leading strategist in the field of healthcare marketing and business development.”

Before entering consulting, McElroy was the founding president of Tennessee Healthcare, a statewide PPO network. He also has been an adjunct university faculty member and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

In all, Compass is home to more than 20 executives with varying operasting and advisory backgrounds. The company is affiliated with the Nashville Management Group.
