California bank finds Music Row space, new Hilton concept picks Division contractor, progress at Opry Mills, and more...

J.E. Crain & Son has won the $10.3 million job to build Nashville’s first Home2 Suites hotel for industry giant Hilton. The 119-room facility will rise at 1800 Division St., next to the Bristol on Broadway apartments and just around the corner from the Embassy Suites. It will feature a restaurant and a small spa.

ICE addition

The General Services Administration is growing its offices on Brick Church Park Drive. Hardaway Construction has the contract to build a 25,180-square-foot addition that’s worth $3 million. Based on a construction document available online — see the first page here — the project appears to be for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

From L.A. to Music Row

City National Bank has found the office space for its entry into the Music Row banking market. The California-based lender, which has recruited a number of SunTrust bankers to lead its charge, has contracted with Flow Construction to rehab the ground floor of 54 Music Square E. The job is worth $200,000.

Opry Mills offices

Bit by bit, the renovation of Opry Mills is progressing. This week, Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. was given a permit to rebuild and finish out the mall’s management offices and public restrooms. The job is valued at $2.15 million.

Church growing in Donelson

Donelson Church of Christ is adding to its campus on Old Lebanon Pike with the help of Wellspring Builders. The church is spending more than $2.7 million to have Wellspring add a three-story building to house Sunday school and administrative spaces. Wellspring also is revamping part of the complex’s parking lot.

Hospital roofing work

HCA is investing almost $200,000 to reroof part of Southern Hills Hospital. Holland Roofing of Nashville Inc. is handling the job.

Diesel down in the ground

Greyhound’s new station at Fifth and Lafayette will have a 10,000-gallon inground diesel tank thanks to Petroleum Equipment Co. The installation of the tank will cost $150,000.

Docs redo Saint Thomas space

Doctor group Associated Urologists of Nashville is rehabbing parts of its suite in Saint Thomas Hospital. Tenant Building Group has been awarded the $190,000 contract.
