Edo Interactive his hired John Corrigan and Ed D’Onofrio as directors of category development.
Corrigan joins the digital and mobile advertising company from group purchasing giant Groupon, where was national sales director. D’Onofrio, a former team manager for Google, was most recently director of sales for social media platform Brickfish.
As directors of category development for edo, the two will be responsible for introducing advertisers to the company’s Prewards program, which gives consumers deals and incentives via existing debit and credit cards.
“Prewards is an exciting product that will transform the way consumers redeem advertiser deals and incentives, as well as the way advertisers offer them,” said CEO Ed Braswell. “Our objective was to hire people who had the experience and ability to help us maximize the potential of this product.”
Corrigan, prior to Groupon, was a director of advertising sales for Brand.net and held positions with AOL and Advertising.com. In addition to Google and Brickfish, D’Onofrio led the RSS feed and blog marketing programs for Feedburner and worked for Yahoo!
The two report to edo Chief Revenue Officer Mark Marinacci, who joined the company in February from Google.
