Revive PR hires local VP

Former Marsha Blackburn assistant joins Goad in health care firm's local office

Revive Public Relations has hired Amy Murphy as the second staffer for its new Nashville office.

Murphy joins the health care public relations firm as vice president. She spent the past six years at Washington, D.C.-based American College of Cardiology, where she most recently served as director of media relations. Prior to the ACC, Murphy was legislative assistant to U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee.

A Tennesse native, Murphy holds a bachelor's degree from Lambuth University and a master's degree in communication from Kriger School of Arts & Sciences Graduate Program at Johns Hopkins University.

Revive, based in California, in February hired former Hall Strategies Principal Kriste Goad as the first employee of its Music City office.
