LifePoint names local division president

COO promoted to lead new Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee hospitals

LifePoint Hospitals has named Jeff Seraphine president of one of its five operating divisions.

Seraphine, previously a division chief operating officer, will provide leadership and direction to a division that includes the company's seven newly acquired hospitals in Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee.

"Jeff has been an integral member of LifePoint's team since our founding, and we are pleased to promote him to division president," said LifePoint President and COO David Dill. "He is a passionate and dedicated leader with extensive experience in health care and hospital management. He is ideally suited to guide our newest hospitals as they become part of the LifePoint system and seek new ways to grow and make their communities healthier."

Prior to serving as division COO, Seraphine held several other executive positions at LifePoint, including CEO at Kentucky hospitals Georgetown Community Hospital, Bluegrass Community Hospital and Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He served in hospital administration roles at HCA in Florida before joining LifePoint.
