Anna Cates Williams has been named placement director of the Tennessee branch of Special Counsel Inc., which is located in Maryland Farms. In her new role, she will focus on lateral attorney placement and business development in Tennessee and nationwide.

Previously, Williams was an attorney at Medical Reimbursements of America in Franklin. She  earned her law degree from Cumberland School of Law and her MBA from the Brock School of Business, both at Samford University.

Special Counsel is a subsidiary of global staffing giant Adecco. The company runs more than 30 offices around the country; its local outpost opened its doors in 1992.
