ServiceSource Nashville office to add jobs, expand space

Effort to begin in early 2012

ServiceSource officials announced Thursday that the company will expand its downtown Nashville sales center and regional headquarters with hundreds of new jobs and increased office space.

The expansion of the San Francisco-based company’s Nashville office, which opened in January 2008, represents a multi-million dollar investment over the next three years, officials said.

“Nashville continues to be a great business partner, with a large pool of potential employees with the education and skills that ServiceSource requires,” Mike Smerklo, ServiceSource chief executive officer, said in a release.

ServiceSource’s Nashville sales center employs almost 500 people and occupies approximately 85,000 square feet of office space in the SunTrust Building located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Fourth Avenue North and Church Street. The expansion will bring additional square footage to the existing space, while the newly created positions will include those in accounting, finance, information technology and sales.

Expansion plans and hiring are slated to begin in the first quarter of 2012.
