HealthTech appoints a pair of officers

HMS owner names two technology leaders to new posts

Software developer HealthTech Holdings announced a pair of appointments yesterday. Stepping into the chief technology officer and chief information officer roles, respectively, are Alan MacLamroc and Geoff Roten.

Before he joined HealthTech, MacLamroc (at left in our photo) was the executive vice president and chief product and technology officer at CDC Software. Roten has spent time with well-known Nashville companies such as Ardent Health Services, Province Healthcare and Community Health Systems.

“With such rapid change occurring within the healthcare industry, it’s exciting to add these accomplished executives to the HHI team,” said Bill Anderson, chairman, president and CEO of HealthTech Holdings. “With a combined 45 years of technology and healthcare experience, Alan and Geoff are well positioned to manage HHI’s technology resources so that all aspects of our business will continue to grow.”

HealthTech Holdings owns longtime health care IT player Healthcare Management Systems.
