The Bank of Nashville has recruited a senior private banker from a Bank of America unit.

David Mahanes has joined the subsidiary of Synovus Financial as senior vice president of private client services. Previously, he was a senior VP at US Trust Private Bank, which Bank of America acquired in 2007. His hiring is the second recent win for The Bank of Nashville: In late July, the company recruited former Pinnacle Financial Partners executive Amy Joyner to lead its business development and relocation division.

Mahanes will work from The Bank of Nashville’s office at 2022 West End.
