A trio of former Grubb & Ellis associates have joined Colliers International's Nashville office.

Austin Benedict, Shane Douglas and Vickie Saito are the newest brokers at what was once NAI affiliate The Mathews Company.

Douglas and Saito come from Grubb & Ellis' Nashville branch. Saito focused on land assemblage, investment and historical redevelopment projects and was tapped as a site consultant on various urban redevelopment projects by the Chamber of Commerce and the local and federal government. Douglas focuses on office leasing.

Benedict comes over from the Bentonville, Ark., branch of G&E, where, predictably, his focus was on shadow developments for Wal-Mart stores. He was responsible for the marketing of more than 1 million square feet of space.
