Nashville Capital Network has named Chase Perry as director.

Perry, previously vice president of corporate development for Brentwood-based FrontStream Payments Inc., will help entrepreneurs of young companies prepare for the fundraising process and evaluate high-growth opportunities for potential investments from NCN's angel group, NCN Angel Fund and Tennessee Angel Fund. It is a newly-created position.

"Chase has the perfect background for our organization because of his experiences in venture capital and working for an early-stage company that has successfully navigated the fundraising process," said NCN Executive Director Sid Chambless.

Prior to FrontStream, Perry was a private equity analyst for Harbert Management Corp. in Birmingham, Ala. He is a 2008 graduate of Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
