Law firm leaving downtown, revamped Circle Ks, flood fixes, and more...

Law firm heading west

The family law firm of Moses & Townsend has contracted with Wieck Construction to build an addition to 205 23rd Ave. N., a small building near Centennial that also houses the Nashville Academy of Medicine and a few other small tenants. Moses & Townsend, which is now based at First and Church downtown, is paying $720,000 for its project.

Church expansion on Temple

ICF Builders has the contract for a $629,864 expansion at St. Luke CME Church on Ed Temple Boulevard. The addition will total 2,430 square feet.

School's out for summer

The $2.8 million rehab project of Vanderbilt's undergraduate library is ready to go. Orion has the contract. Also at VU, a 566-square-foot addition and a 2,290-square-foot rehab of the Margaret Cummings Women's Center are on tap. Wieck has the $500,000 contract for those jobs.

Vet expansion

Wieck also has a $200,000 contract to help Belmont Animal Hospital expand. The job on Belmont Boulevard job also includes some parking lot work.

Belmont church flood fix

Belmont United Methodist Church is readying to repair flood damage to its Acklen Avenue facility. American Constructors has the $300,000 contract.
 
Something strange is afoot at the Circle Ks

A couple of Nashville Circle K locations are going to have new interiors. Permits for $93,000 and $95,000 have been pulled for convenience stores on Nolensville Pike and Belmont Boulevard, respectively. MMC&E has the contracts for both.
