Shaub Construction has a $496,000 contract to build future locations for Chinese fast-food chain Panda Express and upscale sandwich shop Panera Bread. The 5,496 square foot shell is at 2534 Powell Ave. in the 100 Oaks area.

Rolling out upgrades at O'Charley's

A $1.02 million renovation is in the works for O'Charley's corporate headquarters on Sidco Drive. W.T. DuBois has the contract.

Recovery room rehab; pathology unit, too

The post-anesthesia care unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is set for a $600,000 upgrade. The surgical pathology area on third floor at VUMC is also set for $961,000 worth of renovations. Balfour Beatty has both contracts.

Incredible Dave's – a restaurant-and-arcade combo – is coming to RiverGate Mall. Frank J. Schaefer has the $1.34 million contract for 65,000-square-foot job. The company's Web site projects a fall opening.

New dialysis space on Harding

A new dialysis clinic will open on Recovery Road near Southern Hills Medical Center in south Nashville. W.R. Newman has the $525,000 contract.

Centennial takes $1.5M flood hit

Batten & Shaw has the $1.5 million storm damage repair contract at Centennial Women's Hospital on Murphy Avenue.

Symphony repairs will cost $15M; Hall prices out at $300K

American Constructors has the contract for $15 million in flood damage repair at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. American will also handle the $300,000 repair job across the street at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Greyhound settles at 10th and Charlotte

R.C. Mathews will convert the former Hansen Chrysler lot for use as the temporary Greyhound Bus Terminal. The current terminal is in the footprint of the Music City Center. The contract is $480,000.
