Consensus Point snags European client
Nashville-based Consensus Point has inked a deal with Logica to create a prediction market for the London-based consulting firm called Logica FutureScope.
Consensus Point works with corporations and government groups to build prediction markets, tools that let organizations capture the collective intelligence of their employees or other stakeholders to anticipate future events — like whether a project will be completed on time.
“Companies are incentivizing people to tell them what they know, forecast what will happen in the future,” explained CEO Linda Rebrovick. “So they find out early-warning indicators and can go act on them, finding out emerging trends and important insights and innovations.”
Logica FutureScope will focus predictions around sustainability, future IT and cloud services and security for the 39,000-employee business and technology consulting firm.
Consensus Point, founded in 2006, counts Best Buy, General Mills, GE, Motorola and Overstock.com among its clients.
